Minutes of the meeting of
October 21, 2008
President
Shufrin opened the meeting at 8:03 with 32 in attendance.
He
introduced visitors: Paul Anderson and Bill Maxwell and they were welcomed by
the club members.
The
Treasurer reported that he is still settling income and expenses for WALPEX
2008 and will have a report at the next meeting.
The
Minutes of the meeting of October 7, 2008 were approved with a correction to
the APS offer.

We have the most dealer deposits ever

Auction was successful
President Shufrin paid special thanks
to Jack Miller (exhibits), Jim Nalbandian (phish
bowl), Jim Warner(show cover), Chris Brouady (dealer relations), Bruce Bolduc (youth room), and all the members
who helped with the show.
With a call from the floor, the
members gave Norm Shufrin ringing applause for his management of the show.
The scavenger hunt will end at the next
meeting and entries will be judged then.
The
next meeting will feature an ATA video and the following meeting will be on
Saturday morning November 15.
The
meeting closed at 8:26 and was followed by a 163 lot auction ably conducted by
Steve Waxer. The auction included: a miniature postal
scale, a Canadian coin, an address book, refrigerator magnets, and seven
baseball books.
