Old
Business
James Hencke

difficult it is to figure what areas appeal to our membership.
Steve Tauber
said there are more stamp kits available for the contest to make order out of
disorder.
New

to add Museum information to his shipments of stamps he makes to his internet

leadership in 2009.
11
members participated in the Yankee Swap and there was a bit of swapping for the
big red stockbook and for the Rockwell plaque.
The
meeting closed at 8:21 and was followed by a short presentation by Jeff Brigham
about his recent visit to an Amsterdam open air stamp market. He showed photos
(via a digital projector) of the several vendor setups in a wooded street area.
He also noted that in that general area there were 3 stamp stores.

It
is noted that the meeting of December 1 was a Phlea
market attended by 34 enthusiastic members about equally divided into buyers
and sellers. There was considerable activity at the bourse books, the Museum
shop, and the coffee room. And a “received in damaged condition” USPS package
on its way to a dumpster was rescued by George Norton for his collection.
