Old Business

A theme is still needed for WALPEX 2008. If the theme is the model T, one of our members, Dana Booth, has one that could be brought to the show.  The Federation officers in our club expressed an interest in having it for the Federation show.

New Business

Mark Butterline proposed that the Club make Marcia Storkelson a Life Member.  Marcia was a long time bourse manager at the Club. The proposal was approved unanimously and requires a second such approval to become effective.

There was a discussion of Tee Shirts for the club. The utter lack of enthusiasm caused the subject to be dropped.

The Annual Meeting will be held May 6th and will be at the Dandelion Green.

Museum news- Bazaar will be on March 1st.

A brief philatelic trivia exercise was followed by a closing at 8:44 and the closing was followed by an excellent DVD presentation regarding the Lions Club. The Lions Club was started in 1917 and is now the world’s largest service organization and many countries have issued stamps honoring the club. Many of these stamps were shown. In addition, George Norton had selected Lions Club philatelic material from the Museums stock for us to view.
